Claim: If information is physical, it inherits all of physics — not selectively. Topology, constraint, conservation: the full estate.
Problem: Information’s physicality is widely accepted (KO-01) and then quietly exempted — treated as physical for thermodynamic accounting but abstract everywhere else.
Why wrong: Selective inheritance is the extraordinary claim. “This rock is physical but exempt from falling” would demand justification; “information is physical but exempt from topology” gets none, and is asserted by default.
Why it matters: Every downstream structural claim (shape, dimensionality, system dynamics) is deduction from this premise. Failure to correctly account for the physicality of information clouds downstream interpretations.
Shorthand line: Whoever denies the deduction must locate and defend the exemption — which relocates the burden of proof where it belongs.
