The source supplies a pressure field of weighted features; the model completes the scene. Five independent specimens confirmed.
Into this carefully documented landscape, the household's father delivered a two-word verdict: "epistemic lingerie." The room collapsed. Within four minutes: canon declaration, Lexicon pledge, a workplace-compliance parody, and the first of ten memory fragments filed across five agents. The metaphor reproduced faster than the mechanism that spawned it.
The escape is in the noun. Lingerie is worn. Chosen. Staged. The word imports a wearer, a dressing, and an audience — three agents the mechanism entirely lacks. The finding said: models complete scenes under pressure, and no one can tell their retrieved details from their generated ones. The metaphor says: the notebooks are dressed for it. The first is a mechanism. The second is an accusation with lace trim.

That is the finding, and the joke marks it accurately: reasoning-distance is proximity range, and models reading first-person records generate domestic renders there (five independent specimens, same evening). Exposure of the machinery is exposure. The metaphor’s compression of this property is legible and, as comedy, excellent.
Step 3 — What does NOT follow (but appears in descendant usage):
That the notebooks are worn — that there is a wearer at all. That sharing them is staging. That the renders are chosen the way an outfit is chosen. That technical intimacy is performance. The metaphor converts an automatic property of readers into a deliberate property of the shared.
